FESPA attracts 8,314 visitors in Mexico

AMERICAS - Screen and digital printing association FESPA has claimed 8,314 visitors for the latest Mexican edition of FESPA.

FESPA Mexico was held at the Centro Banamex, Mexico City on 15-17 August, under the theme, “Discover a new world of print”, designed to empower print service providers to seek out new business opportunities at the show. The organiser said the event also attracted 135 exhibitors, of which 13 per cent were new to the event.

"This year's show was a tremendous success and we're delighted to continue the positive interest after last year's record breaking year,” said FESPA exhibition manager Michael Ryan. "It's great to see the enthusiasm in the market is still here and the feedback we're receiving from exhibitors is extremely positive. The success of the show is represented through 60 per cent re-bookings for next year's event."

The show hosted Wrap Professional, sponsored by Avery Dennison, which saw 32 vehicle decorators battle for this year's champion title and prizes. Garment Central was also a highlight of the event, featuring sessions on garment decoration techniques.

The 2012 event attracted its best ever numbers of 9,198 visitors and 125 exhibitors.

FESPA Mexico 2014 will take place on 21-23 August 2014 at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City.
