World Dairy Expo announces expansion

AMERICAS - The World Dairy Expo is constructing a temporary trade centre to cope with demand for this year’s show.

The 2,400sqm Trade Center will be the largest new exhibit area at the expo since the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin, was opened in 1995. The new space will offer 130 booths.

“The demand for indoor space has become so high that it was decided to take action and add a new temporary space for 2012,” said sales manager John Rozum.

“World Dairy Expo management is optimistic that the Alliant Energy Center will expand over time.”

World Dairy Expo draws more than 65,000 visitors from 90 countries.

Last year the the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) joined forces with Brasil Alimenta, organiser of the International Week Brasil Alimenta.
