GERMANY – NürnbergMesse has taken on management of the IT security event IT-SA from SecuMedia Verlag.
IT-SA has established itself at the Nürnberg exhibition venue with 7,100 visitors in search of the latest IT security products and developments from 304 exhibitors at the exhibition. This year’s event added 700 visitors and 40 exhibitors on last year’s event.
The IT Security Expo IT-SA has taken place at the Nürnberg location as a guest event since 2009.
“IT-SA is developing well in Nürnberg, which shows we have chosen the right location for the exhibition. IT security has become a key element of our modern life and IT-SA is the best platform for presenting the whole spectrum of this issue,” said event organiser and MD of SecuMedia Verlag Peter Hohl.
“IT-SA is picking up speed and is to become increasingly international. To do justice to this development, we have found a reliable partner in NürnbergMesse. Hence the logical decision to now place IT-SA in the experienced hands of NürnbergMesse and continue to develop it jointly.”
Hohl, Veronika Laufersweiler and Nina Malchus remain on the management board, tasked with raising the event’s profile as an important IT security fixture on the international events calendar.
NürnbergMesse China and the Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE-China) are planning a new tradeshow for the Chinese international automotive industry.
