Comexposium has become the latest major international organiser to join the Explori research platform.

Explori now boasts a global client base of more than 1,650 exhibitions and conferences, contributing to the biggest dataset of event benchmarks.

Comexposium’s CEO Renaud Hamaide (pictured right) said: "Our expansion plans are about both organic and acquired growth and Explori is key to our ability to understand the health and performance of existing assets, as well as those that we’re looking to acquire".

From Jan 2017, all Comexposium international events will conduct their core customer research via Explori ensuring consistent benchmarking across the group, in all regions and all languages.

Explori’s CEO Mark Brewster (pictured left) said: “We’re delighted to welcome Comexposium to the fold. In the last few years, there has been a seismic shift in the profile of customer experience data, with the C-suite taking ownership of performance benchmarking in their organisations”. He continued “This reflects the fact that business leaders acknowledge that today’s customer experience is a critical driver of tomorrow’s profits”.

In November, Explori and UFI launched its 'Global Visitor Insights' report at UFI’s Global Congress in Shanghai, the first of a series of insight projects Explori is promising to release. Brewster said: “We now have the ability to analyse the performance of the exhibition industry by region and by sector which is a big step forward in market intelligence, and an important advantage to our customers”.

Kai Hattendorf, UFI’s managing director, said “There has been very little insight into what visitors want at exhibitions beyond the level of the single show. Through working with Explori, we are able to deliver a global reference to visitor behaviour for UFI’s global membership. Now organisers can compare how their own shows are judged compared to these references. We have already had very positive feedback on this collaboration, and we will definitely continue to deliver these insights together with Explori.”
