London-based print specialists Insite Graphics has unveiled Insite Twirl, a new tensioned fabric display system that delivers new creative possibilities to event professionals.
Insite Twirl uses a special tensioning framework, combined with a high resolution fabric print, to create smooth and continuously curving walls of almost any length, without wrinkles or joins.
Alex Miller, Insite’s newly recruited project manager, was responsible for new display system after a solution was required for Star Wars Celebration at ExCel London.
Miller explained: “I was asked by our MD to devise a way of tensioning fabric along a seven meter compound curve. When I finally put my pen down, I realised that this system had a life far beyond just this event.
"Unlike other curved wall components, Insite Twirl’s curves are not preformed. The system can be set up quickly on-site, and the curve profile can be changed to create completely new shapes and profiles at show time. The system can be formed into tight curves with a 1.5m minimum radius, and it can be extended to virtually any length or height required.”
James Winzar, Insite Graphics’ MD said: “I’m convinced that there’s nothing like Insite Twirl on the market today, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how venues, organisers and stand designers will use it.”
