QSNCC ready to introduce its world class event platform as Thailand opens

QSNCC

Reopening in September, Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC) is introduced as the ultimate inspiring world class event platform for all.

Marketing itself as “Beyond MICE, Beyond Venue”, the venue signifies its reinvention to serve all kinds of events ranging from MICE to lifestyle ranging from conferences to exhibitions.

The new QSNCC is five times larger than its previous iteration.  With more than 300,000 sq.m of total space, the venue is primed for both large scale events as well as meetings.

It can also accommodate face to face, hybrid or virtual events.  It will also focus more on sustainable events with an aim to operate at the forefront of sustainability technologies and environmentally friendly designs.

To redefine the convention center in Thailand, a fresh retail concept called “Bangkok Active Lifestyle Mall” (BALM) has been introduced in an effort to attract a variety of customers from health and fitness enthusiasts to workers and families.  At the heart of Bangkok, it will be more than 100 retails covering more than 11,000 sq.m.  With its connection to Benjakitti Park, the new green hart of Bangkok frequented by exercise lovers, visitors can also enjoy natural daylight and view from the centre and do pre/post business activities at the park.

Recently QSNCC has prepared special offers and privileges to welcome all international organizers and visitors with “Hotel Partnership” program.  In the first phase, QSNCC has collaborated with 13 leading hotel partners in Bangkok and tourism provinces to provide a great variety of benefits to organizers and participants who work with the centre, including complimentary transportation services (airport, hotels, MRT or BTS pass) and special rate for rooms.

“With our capabilities in providing a full range of services for all types of events, QSNCC will be the new event platform destination in Asia” said Mr. Sakchai Pattarapreechakul, CEO of N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd.

The venue has confirmed to hold more than 130 events lined up for 2023, expecting over 13 million visitors per year. With more events flocking to Thailand, including Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit 2022 in November, the QSNCC will bolster Bangkok’s MICE offering. This is reinforced by the fact that the border of Thailand has been opened, and the nation has dropped its post-arrival Covid-19 quarantine which includes wearing face masks in now voluntary in Thailand.
