Pacific World widens role for Mark Searle

WORLD - Global DMC and event management company, Pacific World has moved to widen the role of its sales management team following the ending of its partnership with MM&Co at the end of December 2013.

Following his appointment last year as UK-based sales manager for developing business in Europe, Middle East and Southern Africa, Mark Searle (pictured) will now also take responsibility for all destinations where Pacific World operates.

Hervé Joseph-Antoine, global managing director at Pacific World said: “Mark’s combination of MICE agency background and the knowledge he has gained around the DMC offering has strengthened our presence in the UK market, and we look forward to supporting him in driving representation forward into 2014 across the whole Pacific World portfolio.”

As part of the new role Searle will be responsible for representing destinations including China, India, Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Greece, Scotland, Portugal, Spain, SouthernAfrica, France and Monaco.

“Unfortunately this does mean that we will be ending our partnership with MM & Co,” Joseph-Antoine adds. “David Marks and his team have been a great partner and an important representative for Pacific World.”

Pacific World underwent a worldwide rebranding in November 2011 and currently delivers event solutions in 25 countries.

The firm partnered with European Incentives, Business Travel and Meetings (EIBTM) tradeshow, to deliver operational support for all aspects of the show.
