A partnership between epIQ Creative Group, a demand generation marketing agency, and Germany’s rooom Enterprise Metaverse Solutions has been announced.

The partnership aims develop virtual environments for business events and is aimed at associations and organisations that produce conventions and trade shows.

rooom’s metaverse technology lets convention and trade show organisers to create, manage and market 3D interactive experiences, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR).  Through its platform, rooom’s goal is to allow suppliers to have access to lead generation and sales. Additionally, a place where buyers can network, search marketplaces and access resources.

Bill McGlade, president of epIQ, said: “The advantage of [the partnership] is the versatility of the platform and its interconnectivity. We have launched a B2B metaverse in which associations can purchase their own metaverse or a plot of land within our connected ecosystem.”

McGlade explained that businesses will be able to join the associations’ metaverse marketplaces, virtual malls, and marketplaces.

“What’s driving this shift is the members of these organisations. Demand has shifted and so must the associations. Our members are craving interactions throughout the year, not only during the three to five days of an event,” McGlade added.

epIQ anticipates that certain groups of IT professionals and the younger demographic will embrace the metaverse quicker than other demographics, as they are more likely to have already adopted similar technologies or have taken their businesses virtual, in order to create year-round lead generation.

Additionally, epIQ Creative Group recently acquired Community Leaders Institute, an organisation for community leaders and professionals launched in 2021.
