EW was recently invited by the Korea Tourism Organisation for a week-long familiarisation trip around South Korea.
The tour took in Seoul, Busan, Gyeongju and Incheon, stopping off in a number of MICE hubs and unique venues around the country.
The focus was on KME 2019, or the Korea MICE Expo, which ran for three days in Incheon's Songdo ConvensiA. The event drew exhibitors from tourist boards and the MICE sector all around South Korea, and featured a fascinating keynote about unifying North and South Korea through business.
