Sandown Park Racecourse will host the brand new Contemporary Art Fairs – Surrey, 23–25 February 2018.

Taking place in Sandown’s Surrey Hall, the event runs alongside sister shows in Windsor and Reading and is expected to attract more than 3,500 visitors.

The show will bring together more than 160 artists, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, ceramicists and selected galleries from all over the UK and Europe to showcase their contemporary art.

Visitors will be able to attend a number of workshops and demonstrations from artists and galleries who will advise on how to create a unique and creative space in homes and offices. There will also be the chance to purchase artwork on the day with prices ranging from £40 -£4,000.

Sarah McAllister, co-director, Contemporary Art Fairs, said: “Sandown Park really fits the bill for the launch of our Surrey show. The Surrey Hall is the size for us and allows us to set up single stand spaces for artist, which makes for a better environment overall.”

Tracy Rusbridge, business development executive, Jockey Club Venues London, said: “We’re excited to welcome Contemporary Art Fairs to Sandown Park for their Surrey launch event. The racecourse is a really blank canvas venue so we’re looking forward to seeing the contemporary art decorating the Surrey Hall.”
