The MGM Grand Las Vegas has begun work on a $130m expansion of its conference center, which will grow by a quarter million square feet to more than 78,967sqm.
As a part of this project, the health- and wellness-focused Stay Well Meetings facility will grow 2,043sqm, to encompass the entire second floor of the MGM Grand Conference Center.
The new 23,225sqm event space includes a two large ballrooms, three junior ballrooms, 11 breakout rooms, and a 510sqm outdoor courtyard. This will “seamlessly connect” to the existing facilities, according to MGM Resorts International.
