Organiser Reed Exhibitions announced the launch of the World Travel Retail Expo (WTRE), to be co-located with its World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (pictured) next year.
The new exhibition will take place in Hamburg on 4-6 April 2017 and will focus on suppliers of onboard retail items and services and provide a place for airline and rail operators looking to expand their onboard retail offering.
It will also highlight the latest products available for travel retail onboard, from fragrances and cosmetics to wines and spirts as well as electronics and gifts.
Syreeta Tranfield, exhibition director, Reed Exhibitions, said: “As WTCE has risen in popularity, a growing number of travel retail suppliers have recognised the importance of exhibiting and attending WTCE.
“Launching a dedicated event for travel retail was a natural progression and will complement the highly successful WTCE which celebrated its fifth anniversary in this year.”
