Ecomondo and Key Energy are two upcoming trade shows which will take place at the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy, from 6-9 November 2018.

The shows, which are organised by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), will be held simultaneously at the venue, and will occupy 129,000sqm of exhibit space ready to host over 1,300 companies and 116,000 attendees.

Some of the key topics which will be covered at the shows will be circular economy and the development of renewable energies.

The events mark the 22ndedition of Ecomondo, and the 12thedition of Key Energy. Both hope to act as business catalysts and driving forces for the increasingly strategic sectors of renewable energies and energy efficiency.

Professor Fabio Fava will discuss the effects of environmental changes in the Meditteranean area, particularly on local fisheries, aquaculture and aquatic biodiversity.

Another key discussion will be ‘Single use plastics and marine litter in the Mediterranean Sea: problems and solutions’. This talk will present possible alternatives and policies on the subject from experts, policy makers and key representatives of industrial sectors.
