The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) has announced the launch of AllSport Expo, a sport and wellness exhibition. The show will focus on outdoor, indoor, and water sports.

AllSport Expo has stated that its exhibitors include a range of sports retailers, health, and wellness practitioners – who will showcase products including sports equipment, activewear, and technology.

Taubie Motlhabane, CEO of the CTICC, said: “We hope to offer retailers, and sports and wellness practitioners an opportunity to demonstrate their products range and services to the South African public, in an experiential way.

“We are excited to announce that SABC Sport is our broadcast partner for the event, which means that the expo will get coverage across their wide range of platforms.”

Motlhabane added that the CTICC hopes to attract beginners, amateurs, professional athletes, and coaches to the show.

CTICC explained that the show will feature live activities, such as a climbing wall, EPT recover and massage service, a wellness and nutrition theatre, wrestling and boxing rings, and a ‘kids’ sports zone’.

AllSport Expo announced that workshops will be hosted at the event, ranging from training and wellness sessions, improvement coaching, and sports injury and rejuvenation workshops.

To increase delegate engagement, the show has planned to include experiential sporting activities and competitions to showcase the available products. A level of experiential gamification has also been included in the event’s programme which will include competition prizes, and discounts on packages from various sporting institutes, apparel items, wellness partners and gyms.
