Organiser Diversified Communications has announced it will move its International Floriculture Expo IFE to Miami, Florida, for its 2019 edition.
The event, scheduled for 18-20 June, will be a standalone floral event, says Event Manager Harrison Hines. “With Florida being a hub for many of our customers it is our hope that being ‘close to home’ will make for an amazing event in 2019.
“After four years in Chicago the relocation should bring significant savings to our exhibitors and vendors and will allow for IFE to host even more buyers and put additional investments into the show. We are excited about this move and are confident it will make attending and exhibiting at this show easier and more profitable for all involved.”
Diversified Communications said it hoped to create more opportunities for networking, matchmaking and education at the new-look show in Miami.
IFE was formerly the Super Floral Show (SFS) until Diversified acquired it from Gainshare Media in 2005. IFE is the largest high-volume B2B floral show in North America, uniting floral category vendors with mass market floral buyers from supermarkets, chain stores, wholesale florist distributors and online retailers.
