German exhibitions company Messe Munchen GmbH implemented a new ticketing system from ADITUS at its recent Expo Real 2018, which can complete the entire admission process within three seconds.

The event ran from 8-10 October in Munich, and made use of technology which helps streamline the process from online registration to the self-badging gate. 120 turnstiles were converted, helping crowds of visitors at the entrance disperse quickly.

Marc Luzoff, managing director of ADITUS, said: "The printing of badges at the gate is one of the highlights of the system change in Munich. Here visitors feel the improvement and digitalisation of processes.

“Visitors can simply register at the entrance using their mobiles, open their ticket on their smartphones, tablets or smartwatches and receive their badge at the turnstile when entering. Usability remains simple for the visitor.

"Messe München's demand for a modern overall system for its participants was extremely high. We are proud to report on the success of the first trade fair. Our thanks go to all those involved in the project and to the Messe München team."

Neueu Messe Munchen is one of the largest exhibition venues in Germany, with a combined 180,000sqm of indoor space and 425,000sqm of outdoor space. ADITUS has been developing solutions for ticketing, admission control, visitor registration, and CRM since its founding in 1998.
