Over 13,000 pharmacy professionals visited PharmagoraPlus 2018, the largest annual gathering dedicated to the Francophone pharmacy ecosystem, which was held last month at Paris expo Porte de Versailles, 7-8 April.

On the opening day this defied an Air France strike closing the air routes for this international event and on the second day it was in spite of a rail strike that cancelled over 80% of trains across the country.

“We completely overhauled the programme to ensure it supported everyone across the entire pharmacy sector: industrials, institutions and associations, our objective was to really look at the issue the profession faced and to support pharmacists by giving them all the tools, training and advice they need to face current challenges and move towards a better future. The audience increase of 14% as compared to last year is a tremendous result for a show that is over 33 years old,” explained Adrien Collilieux, event director, PharmagoraPlus.

The 33rd edition of the event was led by Christian Obega, who has won Exhibition News, Best Salesperson of the Year Award twice, and saw another event record broken with 108% of all exhibitors rebooking.
