Ingredients Russia anticipates more than 5,000 visitors

EUROPE - Ingredients Russia is gearing up for its 17th show dedicated to food ingredients, co-located with Dairy and Meat Industry on 18–21 March 2014 at Moscow’s All-Russian Exhibition Centre.

According ITE Group, organiser of World Food Moscow, Russia’s dairy industry is expected to grow by 2.1 per cent in 2014, reaching RUB 792 billion (US$23.8 bn) in value; the country is also forecast to become Europe’s largest food consumption market by 2018.

With this in mind, the organiser expects Ingredients Russia 2014 to surpass the 5,003 visitors and 206 exhibitors attendance in 2013, as well as Meat and Dairy Industry’s 6,173 visitors and 275 exhibitors.

“The specialised events continue to be a springboard for international companies entering or expanding their operations in Russia,” said ITE Group sales manager Leila Isakova.

“Russia’s appetite for new and exotic flavours has been a driving force for Russia’s food production industry. We look forward to welcoming both returning and new exhibitors in March, and wish them a successful show.”

Exhibiting companies will display food extracts, snacks, dairy products, fats, oils, cocoa products, lactic acid, dairy production equipment, and meat processing machinery.

A programme of seminars, conferences, masterclasses and presentations will run alongside the combined event, including the Dairy Tasting Contest.

ITE Group said the firm is well positioned in growth markets for 2014.
