IFEMA reports 2.4% visitor rise at Salon Look Internacional

EUROPE - More than 60,000 visitors attended Salón Look Internacional 2013 on 4-6 October, according to Madrid venue and show organiser IFEMA.
 
The show attracted 300 companies and over 1,000 brands, which showcased the latest trends and innovations in the aesthetics, hairdressing, cosmetics, make-up, nails and well-being sector at Feria de Madrid.
 
A total of 60,252 trade visitors were registered over the three days of the event, up 2.4 per cent compared with the 2012 figure of 58,805.
 
The 16th edition of the show featured the inaugural Nailympics – ‘the only international manicure Olympiad’, Hair Look Catwalk, the Innovation Gallery and the first Salón Look Internacional Awards.
 
The organiser also staged the fifth Spa, Health and Wellness Congress and the sixth Aesthetics Congress.
 
IFEMA has recently rolled out free Wi-Fi across five areas at the venue, as part of its infrastructure expansion.
