Exhibitions and Trade Fairs launches Australian solar energy expo

AUSTRALASIA - Exhibitions and Trade Fairs has partnered with the Australian Solar Council to launch “Australia’s first event dedicated to on-and-off-grid energy storage”.

The Australian Energy Storage Exhibition and Conference will take place on 8-9 May 2014 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The inaugural event will co-locate with Solar 2014, which last year attracted more than 2,200 visitors and 70 exhibitors.

According to the organiser, one of the major challenges in the clean energy industry is how to provide electricity when the sun is not shining and the wind is not blowing. The two-day event will feature a conference programme and an exhibition showcasing the latest energy storage technology, market trends and financial analysis.

“By bringing these two important events together, we will create a fantastic opportunity to network and meet all of the critical players in Australia’s solar and energy storage industries,” said chief executive of the Australian Solar Council, John Grimes.

Exhibitions and Trade Fairs has also recently launched a new trade exhibition aimed at the Australian travel distribution system industry.
