Technical textile expo moves to Mumbai in 2014

ASIA - The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is expecting more than 2,000 exhibitors at its third trade show for the technical textiles sector in 2014.
 
Co-organised by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Technotex will be held on 20-22 March 2014, and moves from the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi to the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. More than 10,000 visitors are expected to attend.
 
The exhibition will span 10,000sqm of exhibition space, featuring international pavilions, a business centre lounge, travel and transport desk and a business information centre. A conference programme will also take place within the event, focusing on the latest technological developments in technical textiles, quality control and supply of plant, machinery and equipment.
 
The technical textiles include tyre cord, fabrics, airbags, industrial textiles, fire services equipment, bullet proof jackets and parachutes.
 
In other news, the Bombay Exhibition Centre will play host to Messe Munich's co-located shows Intersolar India and Analytica Anacon India in November.
