i2i Events expands UK brand reach with UKTI partnership

EUROPE - The i2i Events Group has partnered with UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), to expand its brand reach by supporting the attendance of UK companies at i2i’s range of events, exhibitions and summits.
 
The partnership will cover 11 of the organiser’s events in 2013, across sectors including renewables, energy and water, education, broadcast and production technology, retail and architecture.
 
“By working closely with UKTI and supporting existing and new UK clients we hope to maximise the growth opportunities for UK businesses in our particular sectors and markets,” said i2i Events CEO Mark Shashoua (pictured). “We are delighted to announce this partnership and look forward to further developing our working relationship with UKTI.”
 
According to the organiser, the partnership will come into effect immediately and will seek to bring high quality networking opportunities with senior global decision makers within the reach of UK-based SMEs. It will also provide a range of VIP services to UK delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors who participate at selected i2i events.
 
“UKTI is delighted to be working with i2i Events Group to identify and support more British businesses to go global,” said Robert Driver, director of technology, innovation and events at UKTI. “There are exporting opportunities for every business, no matter what their size, in both established export markets and in newly emerging high growth economies.”
 
The i2i Events Group is continuing to expand its international portfolio with the launch of 10 new shows across key markets in 2013 and 2014.
