AMERICAS - Brian Acheson has been elected as the new international president for the International Special Events Society (ISES), for the 2013-2014 year.
Acheson was previously president of the ISES Dallas Chapter and has been a member of the International Board of Governors for the past 11 years. He is also the founder and owner of VIP Events.
"I take on the role at a very exciting time in our association's history, having just launched the inaugural ISES Live, the roll out of our new Brand Strategy and Brand Story and the development of a number of new Chapters around the World,” said Acheson.
“ISES remains the natural home for those within the creative events profession across the globe, and I look forward to continuing to work with other organisations in the sector to promote the value of this incredible and valuable industry.”
Acheson was inaugurated at the association’s Annual General Meeting, which took place during ISES Live in Nassau, The Bahamas. Also announced at ISES Live, was the destination for ISES Live 2014, which will be held in Seattle, Washington.
