Rising exhibitor numbers for duty free and travel retail event

ASIA - The Tax Free World Association (TFWA) is anticipating its upcoming exhibition to be bigger and better than last year’s, due to growing exhibitor numbers.

The TFWA Asia Pacific Conference & Exhibition is scheduled to take place on 12-16 May at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center, Singapore.

“TFWA is very optimistic that TFWA Asia Pacific 2013 will be a record-breaking event,” said TFWA president Erik Juul-Mortensen.

The organiser said the number of industry delegates who have registered to attend exceeds the number at the same stage last year by five per cent. TFWA also said there will be 252 exhibitors this year compared to 236 at the 2012 event and 212 in 2011.

“This annual event has grown from strength to strength which reflects, and indeed anticipates, the extraordinary growth of duty free and travel retail in Asia,” Juul-Mortensen added.
