MIDDLE EAST - Omanexpo’s MedHealth and Wellness event has been granted UFI-Approved Event status after only two editions of the show.
The recognition brings the number of UFI-approved events organised by Omanexpo to six, a figure the organiser claims is the highest number for an exhibitions and conferences organiser in the country.
MedHealth’s project manager Gaith Aloul said: “We are pleased and proud of this achievement, considering that we’ve encountered some challenges along the way. This is timely for our upcoming MedHealth and Wellness which will happen in September.
“It will also push us to work harder to achieve our long-term objectives as well as to be able to provide a higher level of quality service to the industry.”
Omanexpo launched MedHealth and Wellness in 2009 as a pioneering health and wellness show in the Sultanate and currently stands as the only healthcare exhibition and conference in Oman.
Global industry association UFI represents the world’s leading tradeshow organisers, fairground owners, exhibition associations, and selected partners of the exhibition industry worldwide with more than 600 members from 85 countries.
Oman’s second Human Resources Development Expo has been scheduled for 23-25 September at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
