MIDDLE EAST - Event technology specialist Info Salons has appointed an EPOC Messe Frankfurt director as the new MD for its Middle East office.
Wilbert Heijmans, who has been based in Dubai since 2007, is currently group exhibitions director at Epoc Messe Frankfurt and will take on his new role at Info Salons Middle East in February.
Heijmans’ experience includes eight years with VNU Exhibitions, where he spent five years in Utrecht, Holland, and three years in Shanghai, China. He has been a client of Info Salons in the Middle East for four years.
“Wilbert’s client-focused perspective and understanding of our business will bring new insight and enhanced service delivery, enabling Info Salons to continually meet and exceed our clients’ expectations,” said Info Salons Group CEO Jo-Anne Kelleway.
Among other duties, Heijmans will be tasked with driving sales strategy and identifying key business development opportunities.
Last year the Australian exhibition technology company opened a new office in the UK.
