THE NETHERLANDS - Amsterdam RAI has appointed Marieke Visser as its new director of marketing and national exhibitions, effective as of 1 June.
She will be part of RAI Exhibitions, the department responsible for the operation and development of the RAI's 25 national and international exhbitions. Visser joined RAI Exhibitions as head of marketing services in early 2010 and will now take on the majority of job responsibilities left by the departing Henk Wielinga.
Before joining RAI, Visser worked at Reed Business and Marqit, focusing on the launch, development and expansion of online business models.
Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre will host the launch edition of International Water Week from 29 October to 4 November 2011.
