Totem launches Sci+Med for medical, scientific and pharmaceutical hybrid events

International virtual event platform Totem has this month launched Sci+Med, a new events platform built specifically for the medical, scientific and pharmaceutical industries.

Sci+Med allows companies to build their own white-label hybrid event landscapes using Totem  technology.

Organisers can use the platform to run advisory boards, internal training sessions, small meetings, large scale investigator meetings and symposiums.

Sci+Med can also host poster sessions and allow organisers to pre-load with key materials and documentation as well as providubg unique session-specific seat drops for review and download.

Sci+Med says the system and events are completely isolated and secure, with access only available through their environment.  It also provides full access to analytics and attendee tracking in real time.

Christopher Bo Shields, CCO and co-founder, Totem, said: “Medical, scientific and pharmaceutical events are about progress and advancement – and the way these events are held should reflect that. With our fully hybrid Sci+Med platform, this is how scientific minds should meet.”

The news comes as Totem’s owner Binumi Pro is renamed as Bridge Event Technologies. The company says the aim is to better represent the range of technologies developed for the events sector. Bridge Event Technologies provides an integrated suite of technologies for the events world, including Totem, Binumi Pro, OnAir and Amigo.
