The Security Event returns to NEC Birmingham this April

The world’s leading security brands, market leaders and industry experts are set to come together as The Security Event returns to the NEC Birmingham., 25-27 April.

Topics covered by guest speakers include the global security scene, crime prevention, cyber security and diversity on the frontline 

This year’s show, organisers Nineteen Group say, will be bigger than before and offer free access to industry professionals to five major leading co-located industry events - The Fire Safety Event, The Health and Safety Event, the National Cyber Security Show, Professional Security Officer Live and The Workplace Event.

There are a number of new features for this year's event including the Physical Security Zone, which will place a spotlight on the latest products and solutions in physical security, and the addition of the Live Security Testing zone in partnership with element, will see twice daily demonstrations and investigations into the practical reality of new and existing regulatory requirements.

Tristan Norman (pictured), group event director of the Nineteen Group, said: “With a total of six shows on offer, there is plenty for visitors to see. Owners and decision makers will have access to everything they need to run a safe and secure businesses under one roof.”

Guest speakers include activist and campaigner Figen Murray, Satia Rai, director of equality, diversity and inclusion at the International Professional Security Association (IPSA), Daniel Garnham, president of the Security Industry Federation and Barrie Millet, director of intelligence operations at Mitie.
