The Podcast Show will officially launch in 2021 at the Business Design Centre, London, UK< from 26-27 May 2021.
Partners already announced for the event include Spotify, BBC Sounds, Acast and Audioboom. The Podcast Show anticipates that it will have over 6,000 delegates in attendance.
The show aims to be "a place where those in the European podcast industry can get together and do business but also where young aspiring podcasters can come and immerse themselves in masterclasses and workshops".
According to the organisers, as of 2020 there are over 30 million podcast episodes globally (compared to 18.5 million in 2018). Global podcast advertising revenues are to reach $2 billion by 2022.
The show will include a range of features, such as Headline Speakers Industry Panels, ‘In Conversation with’ discussions, workshops and masterclasses, DIY panels and advice sessions, live podcast matinees, exhibitor and partner activations, and international networking events.
