Taiwan’s national convention bureau, MEET TAIWAN, has won an international gold award at the Stella Awards hosted by M&C Asia on 16 August.
Organised by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, MEET TAIWAN won the category, Best Convention & Visitor Bureau (Asia), for the third consecutive year, plus the 2023 Best Exhibition City (Asia) award.
Taiwan's MICE industry has recorded several successes this year. The EXPO-TECH Digital Exhibition Navigation programme, promoted by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, received an Industry Partners Award from the global association of the exhibition industry (UFI) in July 2023. Additionally, collaboration with national conference organisers secured hosting rights for the 2025 annual conference of the The International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO). The awards are all testimony to Taiwan’s competitiveness and influence in the international MICE industry, which the CVB says will bring new opportunities for development.
