Outstanding performances recognised (virtually) at IELA awards

The International Exhibition Logistics Association (IELA) has announced the winners of its 2019 IELA Standard of Performance awards.

The awards were presented at a virtual awards ceremony inaugurated by Vicki Bedi, IELA chairman 2018-2020, by the chair and vice-chair of the IELA Standards & Customs Working Group, David Palomo and Jatin Bharadwaj, respectively.

The awards recognise IELA members’ achievements quantified by the IELA Standards of Performance Survey, which this year took place 15 January-30 April 2020.

The IELA Standards of Performance Survey is a benchmarking tool all IELA members use to evaluate the performance of their counterpart export, domestic and on-site agents within IELA’s worldwide network.

In respect of social distancing rules, an online IELA Awards Ceremony was organised this year, although the physical awards will be handed over personally at IELA’s 2021 Congress. For the time being, the winners will make do with their hologram awards and a certificate.

IELA commended in a range of categories and a full list of winners is available on the association’s website.

“I congratulate the IELA Award winners and am confident that their recognition will motivate them to outdo themselves next year,” said Vicki Bedi, 2018-2020 IELA Chairman.
