Joe Manby clinches exhibition contract on the back of green credentials

Event services specialist Joe Manby Limited says its sustainability policy was partly the reason it has been able to add a new educational conference and exhibition to its events portfolio.

The company will supply event services for the exhibition being staged by the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL) at Manchester Central convention complex, UK, in April 2020.

The IATEFL International Annual Conference and Exhibition is one of the main events in the English language teaching (ELT) calendar. Attended by around 3,000 professionals from more than 100 countries, a four-day programme includes 500 talks, workshops and forums.

The associated exhibition is an opportunity to see the latest ELT publications and services and visit the IATEFL Careers Fair.

Leanne Smith, Sponsorship and Exhibition Officer at IATEFL said: “We are pleased to be working with Joe Manby Limited who won the contract for this influential event thanks, in part, to their excellent sustainability policy as well as their expertise and in-depth working knowledge of the venue.”

Andrew Manby, director of Joe Manby Limited, said: “We take our impact on the environment seriously and are constantly striving to improve sustainability by reducing waste, reusing shell scheme and electrics and recycling where we can, so we are delighted to see this recognised.”

Joe Manby Limited has a growing portfolio and a worldwide customer base.
