Infor to partner with China’s Lingtong to create green exhibition ecosystem

New York and London-based business cloud software specialist Infor has signed up to work with Jiangsu-based Lingtong Exhibition System Co.

The company’s Infor LN solution will be used to improve Lingtong’s operational capabilities and build a green exhibition service ecosystem.

The Chinese company is a leading developer and producer of exhibition display equipment in the country and Lingtong’s management says the vision is to take its green exhibition service global.

Lingtong provides large-scale, quick-to-build and recyclable exhibition equipment for a range of industries and the new partnership with Info, it hopes, will enable it to offer more environmentally sound construction solutions.

The continuous expansion of the exhibition industry has seen environmental issues coming even more to the fore and Lingtong’s rapid growth has meant its current management tools can no longer support the needs of the group’s development, so hence the link up with Infor.

The Infor LN solution will involve many areas, including procurement, sales, production, finance, and project implementation. It will rolled out in mid-2020.

Yuguang Liu, Chairman of Lingtong, said: “We chose Infor after a careful evaluation process and were impressed by their deep industry expertise and how the Infor LN solution is both cost-effective and quick to deploy according to the unique needs of the exhibition industry… At the same time, the Infor LN solution provides complete supply chain visibility, and saves energy during each step of the production process.”

Becky Xie, Infor Vice-President of Sales, Greater China and Korea, said: “Striving for sustainable growth and development of the industry go hand in hand with corporate social responsibility. We are happy to be working with Lingtong to promote environmental sustainability through the creation of a green exhibition industry chain, which will help protect our fragile ecosystem.”
