IAEE’s annual event requires proof of vaccination

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) is requiring proof of full vaccination for admission to its annual event ‘Expo! Expo!’, 7-9 December.

The IAEE aims for safety to be at the forefront of the event experience, with masks to be always worn indoors in line with the host City of Philadelphia’s Covid-19 regulations. Proof of vaccination should be submitted through the Fern Health Check platform powered by ‘ShareMy.Health’.

Bob McLean, the chairperson of IAEE and executive vice-president of Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), said: “The IAEE Board of Directors voted unanimously for the vaccine requirement and believes this is the right decision for our trade show community at this time.”

David DuBois, president and CEO of IAEE, added: “We must continue to be mindful of the current environment and are therefore leaving no stone unturned. With everything IAEE and its partners are doing to provide the highest duty of care, we are confident that the Expo! Expo! experience will deliver as it always does.”

This year’s in-person Expo! Expo! will focus on covering strategic skills needed for leaders and companies to respond to future challenges and weather crises. It will be a hybrid event, with general and exhibitor mobile sessions from the show flow streamed online.
