Event tech provider, Hopin, has continued its acquisition drive with the announcement of its acquisition of Attendify, the fifth company it has purchased this past year.
Since the beginning of 2020, Hopin has acquired StreamYard, Streamable, jamm, and Boomset, as well as raising more than USD$565m in Series A-C funding.
Attendify provides tools designed to help event managers deepen audience engagement as well as collect data and surface insights in order to optimise events. With the assistance of Attendify, Hopin will introduce Audience CRM, an attendee data platform that will automatically capture engagement, identify intent signals and use event data to drive growth.

On 7 July, Hopin also announced several company updates as part of Illuminate, a hybrid series bringing together thousands of professionals to highlight innovation in the events industry featuring guest speaker, Malala Yousafzai, Nobel Laureate and co-founder of Malala Fund.
These updates included the announcement of a free plan, which allows customers to organise an event of up to 100 people and lasting up to two hours. It also announced an integrated GoFundMe into its platform, allowing for donations during the event.
