EventsAIR recognised as ABA100 Winner

EventsAIR, the Australian based event tech company that provides online platforms to planners, has been recognised as an ABA100 Winner in The Australian Business Awards 2021 for Software Innovation.

In its 16th year, the awards recognise organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, product innovation, technological achievement and employee engagement via a set of established business and product award categories.

Trevor Gardiner, CEO of EventsAIR, said: “We are honoured to be awarded the ABA100 Winner for Software Innovation for the second year running. The team has been working hard to deliver innovative event management technology that keeps audiences engaged and connected around the globe. This has meant that we have had to rethink the way events are delivered in a virtual, hybrid and in-person environment.

“This has led to the development of OnAIR, our virtual and hybrid event solution. OnAIR has delivered thousands of virtual events, supporting over 2 million users, which would not have been possible. I am very proud of our team who has accomplished so much in such a short time frame. We look forward to continuing supporting the events industry in creating great event experiences.”

Tara Johnston, programme director of EventsAIR, added: “The Covid-19 pandemic has presented one of the most significant business challenges ever faced by organisations across Australia. It created a critical need for leading organisations to adapt to new working environments and adopt new approaches to innovation whilst navigating the technical and operational constraints imposed by the lockdown.

“As the world changes, these organisations have implemented new business tools, practices, and policies to facilitate productivity beyond the physical office, presenting unique opportunities for business transformation by rethinking their business strategies and processes.”

Entry into the awards is open to all private and public companies, multinationals and their subsidiaries, non-Government organisations, educational institutions, Government departments, Government agencies, Government authorities and statutory bodies that have successfully executed a business, management, community initiative or developed an innovative product or service.
