The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) will celebrate International Women’s Day 2021 on Thursday 4 March, with a live broadcast from its Connected Event Studio.
The event will use the theme #ChooseToChallenge, and will see a panel of international speakers addressing the contribution of women in business events.
They will discuss practical solutions for women to take leadership positions and for organisations to create a culture that fosters equal opportunity,
Claudia Sagripanti, EEAA chief executive, said: “We have taken our International Women’s Day event online this year to give everyone in our industry an opportunity to come together and recognise the incredible talent pool in our industry, and the ability to reinvent and transform.
“This year’s IWD event will bring together a panel of experienced businesswomen who shine in their work and their approach to their careers. We are delighted to have secured Simone Allan, a standout keynote speaker along with a panel of leaders from various sectors of the business events industry.”
Simone Allan is a social entrepreneur and businesswoman who is director of The Mentor Evolution, a mentor matching platform; and Mondo Search - an executive search consultancy.
