Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME), a meetings and conventions event, has been awarded Best Trade Show of 2019 at the Exhibition & Event Association of Australasia’s (EEAA) Awards for Excellence.
The awards celebrate the achievements of shows, venues, suppliers, teams and individuals hard work, creativity and strategic planning that is required for an industry event.
The event’s organiser, Talk2 Media & Events, relaunched AIME earlier this year with a new vision and a modified offering.
The team implemented a new vetting process for hosted buyers, which introduced a cost-effective stand called ‘Embassy Suites’ for exhibitors. It also maximised opportunities to drive positive returns on investment for all delegates.
Decorative Events & Exhibitions were also awarded ‘Best New Product’ for the Embassy Suites, which were designed in collaboration with the Talk2 team.

The next AIME will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, which will take place from 17–19 February.
