dmg events expands data management team

dmg events, an organiser of events and a publisher of trade magazines, has announced its recent hire of Sunny Bath as vice president for its data management team.

In his new role, Bath will enforce dmg events approach to data governance, manage the data warehouse for financial and management reporting, ensure data is used efficiently, and act as a mentor to company’s data analysts.

Bath joins the company with more than 23 years’ experience. He has previously worked at Euromoney, where he led the creation of its marketing data warehouse. He also devised the data strategy for this FTSE 250 company, as well as developed the customer and prospect databases.

Bath said that dmg is a “progressive company with great growth potential.” He adds that his team will implement a “new data strategy”, which will “support increased growth by enabling business decisions with greater levels of information.”
