RAI Amsterdam had a turnover of €150m in 2018

RAI Amsterdam has released its financial results for the year 2018, demonstrating the best operating results since the venue’s establishment.

Operating results were €15.5m, with a turnover of over €150m. More than 1.8 million people visited the venue in Amsterdam, or the RAI’s events abroad, in 2018.

A total of 205 international events took place in the year, with new events including Money20/20 and Amsterdam Drone Week. The RAI organised the latter event in cooperation with the European aviation association EASA, aiming to position Amsterdam position as Drone City.

The staff and management of the RAI have continued to refine the Vision 2030 plan for the venue. The company will focus in the coming years on the ongoing development, purchasing and acquisition of titles.

It also aims to realise sustainable growth in the greater Amsterdam region.
