Now in its 17th year, the embedded world tradefair in Nuremberg has posted new record numbers for its 2019 edition held at the end of February, with a big increase in visitors, including: 31,000 trade visitors, the second highest total since the tradefair began. Booked space was up with a 8% larger display area at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg.

Embedded technologies are in action everywhere - whether in the car, data and telecommunication systems, industrial and consumer electronics or aerospace - and embedded world is the largest tradeshow serving the sector.

A total of 1,117 companies from 42 countries, almost 100 more than in the previous year, came to exhibit, with the proportion of international exhibitors increasing again to 56%.

Community mindset was very much in evidence at the tradeshow, said Richard Krowoza from the NürnbergMesse Management Board.

Organisers said that 97% of trade visitors had noted they would be taking part again in 2020, while 90% of exhibitors stated they would book a stand again in 2020.

Nine out of ten exhibitors expected follow-on business from the event, the organisers added.

The embedded world and electronic displays conferences drew 2,000 delegates and speakers from 46 countries, with the key theme for 2019 being “embedded intelligence”.
