Comexposium moves up a gear with Indonesia Motorcycle Show

Global event organiser Comexposium has announced the addition of Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) to its joint venture partnership with Amara Pameran International (API).

IMOS is the biggest motorcycle show in Indonesia and will take a new route under the direction of Seven Event, Indonesian professional exhibition organiser (PEO), the joint venture platform of Comexposium and API.

Previously organised by API, IMOS was a biennial since 2014 and IMOS 2018 posted a good sales record on the back of the launch of new products into this market.

The acquisition of IMOS represents a big step for Seven Event, “The Acquisition is a strategic decision needed for Seven to grow as a professional exhibition organiser,” the company, which has hitherto focused on organising automotive exhibitions, said. Mayfield Merger worked as a broker in the deal, publicly announced 12 February. 

It is the organiser of the large GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) endorsed by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles), an international trade association overseeing world auto shows.

In 2020 Seven Event will hold a major exhibition covering all parts of the automotive industries, passenger car, commercial vehicle, motorcycle, and the automotive supporting industries. “Seven will officially conduct six automotive industry exhibition in 2020, The 28th GIIAS The Series, hold in four cities in Indonesia, GIICOMVEC and of course IMOS.” said Seven Event President Director Mr Romi. “Our goal for 2020 is to expand and extend exhibitions under our direction as an exhibition that all automotive enthusiast can relate to.”
