Italian Exhibition Group announced, 27 November, it has filed an application to list its shares on the Italian Stock Exchange through a private placement exclusively reserved for qualified investors in Italy and institutional investors abroad.
The placement was launched on 28 November 2018 and will end on 4 December, 2018.
The offer price range is from a minimum of 3.70 euros per share to a maximum of 4.20 euros per share. The proceeds of the capital increase will be used to finance the Group’s growth strategy.
In particular, proceeds will be used to spin off new events from existing ones and for acquisition and aggregation with other players in the sector.
The IEG Group has been an important player in the Italian and European exhibition organiser world.
The company was a leader 2017 in the organisation of international B2B exhibitions in Italy.
Organisation and management of the exhibition events is carried out mainly at IEG-owned facilities (the Rimini Exhibition Centre and the Vicenza Exhibition Centre), while some events are organised in exhibition areas of other operators in Italy and abroad (Rome, Milan, Arezzo, Dubai), through the Group’s subsidiaries or affiliates.
For the year ended 31 December 2017, the Group reported total revenues of €130.7m, an EBITDA of €23.2m.
At 30 June 2018, the Group’s total revenues amounted to €77.3m, compared to €71.3m in H1 2017, an increase of €6m (+8.5%).
