Sydney Build constructs extension with CIVENEX

Build CIVENEX

Oliver Kinross, the organiser of Sydney Build, a large-scale construction exhibition for New South Wales, has announced the show’s 2019 edition will be held in partnership with CIVENEX, a large infrastructure expo organised by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia (IPWEA).

The Sydney Build and CIVENEX partnership aims to offer attendees a chance to build connections, enhance industry knowledge, and generate business at a major indoor and outdoor show taking over all of the Royal Hall of Industries, the Hordern Pavillion and adjacent outdoor grounds.

CIVENEX has been running for over 60 years and John Yordhouse, IPWEA (NSW) CEO, said the partnership would bring together all sectors of the large and diverse industry and “huge profits, benefits and capacity to exhibitors and attendees”.

“Our partnership with CIVENEX will take Sydney Build to the next level… The partnership brings together the construction and infrastructure industries, making the events wider attended and more meaningful for Sydney and Australia's built environment,” added James McKenzie, Sydney BUILD Event Director.

The two shows co-locate 14-15 March 2019 at the Royal Hall of Industries & Hordern Pavilion in NSW.
