APEX, the international trade fair for mobile work platforms, will be returning to Maastricht in 2020 for its tenth edition.
Maastricht is the city where the exhibition was held for the first time, in 1996. APEX is organised by Industrial Promotions International (IPI), and will be held from 9-11 June 2020 at MECC Maastricht.
Around 5,000 visitors from all over the world visit the exhibition. The annual conference of the European Rental Association and the International Rental Exhibition (IRE) will also be held in tandem with the APEX.
Tony Kenter, IPI Managing Director, said: “The recent and future investments in MECC Maastricht make the city an even better location for our exhibitors and visitors. This is particularly the case given the expanded outdoor areas, which will be optimally utilised during the event. This is part of the reason APEX is returning to its roots, and the upcoming anniversary edition will be held at MECC Maastricht.’

The return of an international trade fair of APEX’s calibre, with 5,000 international visitors, is aligned with our ambitions, and confirms the appeal of our location and the city.
“Naturally, Maastricht and the region will also benefit from APEX’s return, thanks to the enormous economic spin-off in terms of hotel stays, transport, hospitality industry and the like in Maastricht and the area.’
With eight international airports nearby, Maastricht is easily accessible from anywhere in Europe. During APEX 2020, free shuttle buses will be available to transport people between MECC Maastricht and the various airports.
MECC Maastricht will be undergoing a substantial expansion and modernisation in the years to come, involving a total investment of over 30 million Euros.
