Visitors, buyers and exhibitors at the Italian Exhibition Group’s green technologies expo, Ecomondo, will have an opportunity for a unique close insight on how to access European financing for green projects.

The event takes place at Rimini Expo Centre, 6-9 November, and underlines the show’s role as a European reference point for the green economy and the circular economy at top institutional level.

The event has seen close relationship forged through the years with between visitors and organisations of the European Commission. This year, the European Commission is strengthening its profile at Ecomondo with a special EC exhibition stand.

The Commission’s EASME agency (Executive Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises) will showcase, in the venue’s South Foyer, the European projects financed via four different programmes (COSME, LIFE, Horizon 2020 and EMFF).

EASME will bring 37 projects from Europe to the expo, all bearing witness to how financing has stimulated the introduction of circular processes in various contexts. There will be six exhibition spaces round the stand’s perimeter for corporates.

EASME officials will also advise Ecomondo attendees interested in discovering more about the possibilities of financing provided by the various European programmes.

With a speed dating format, visitors, buyers and exhibitors will also be able to book a meeting with the EASME agency’s experts.

Another European Commission initiative at Ecomondo is a Virtual Tour of exhibitors who in the past have received European financing.
