Clarion Events Asia has acquired RetailEX ASEAN, an exhibition focusing on retailers in the Southeast Asia region.
Clarion will co-organise the event alongside Thailand’s IMPACT exhibition and conference centre, where the show will take place on 14-16 September. The event serves the ASEAN market, which is made up of the ten member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Richard Ireland, managing director, Clarion Events Asia, commented: “The combination of RetailEX ASEAN’s early success with Clarion’s history of nurturing events will provide our clients with the business intelligence to transform retail in Asia. The acquisition is expected to result in a show that can support the needs of retailers across ASEAN as they transition through the next 5-10 years of exciting transformation.

RetailEX ASEAN will continue to operate under the same name, while Clarion will work closely with the IMPACT team to integrate both companies over the next six months.
