London events agency WRG has been selected by Ricoh Europe to support the imaging giant’s presence at print industry trade fair Drupa 2016.

Ricoh appointed WRG to showcase its portfolio of production print solutions on an 1,800sqm stand in a main hall of the exhibition.

WRG will also design and deliver a communications campaign, driving awareness and registrations for the event at a global level.

WRG won the business in a competitive pitch between three agencies.

The event will be held from 31 May until 10 June 2016 at the Messe exhibition centre, Düsseldorf, Germany, with 19 halls, 1,500 exhibitors and attendance from UK, Europe and beyond.

The winning stand design will take four weeks to build with an emphasis on live demonstration and interactive elements.

John Blyth, market development manager at Ricoh Europe said: “We’re looking forward to working with WRG, who have shown a real creative flair and understanding for this project. They were chosen because of the quality of the insight and design they brought to the brief. Our whole aim is to show progressive, professional print businesses ways to unlock new markets, new applications and open new worlds.”

David Sharrock, CEO at WRG added: “We’re delighted that Ricoh have chosen WRG for the production print industry’s highest profile event, for not only experiential design, but crucially, the supporting communications campaign. Our winning pitch is testament to the quality of insight and communications expertise our team brings to each and every brief.”
