Messe Basel overcame logistical and organisational challenges when it hosted one of Switzerland's biggest company events with around 10,000 participants,on 26 September.
Across 100,000sqm, the Dialogue Plus event featured a total of 28 forums, each accommodating up to 400 people and 35,000sqm of carpeting was laid out.
Around 10,000 employees and board members of Raiffeisen were brought to Messe Basel on special trains and 250 buses.
Sandra Bürkle, project manager said: “Messe Basel's modern and centrally located hall infrastructure ideally complemented our ideas and objectives for the event. Our employees were delighted and we were able to get the relevant messages across in an extremely effective manner. We were made very welcome at Messe Basel and received competent support on all matters."
Messe Basel said the WLAN was configured so that all the employees could use the video streaming function at once, and a full-scale television and news room was set up for live TV, editorial contributions and discussions.
The highlight of the event was the successful world record production of a ‘lip dub’ (a type of video that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video) by all 10,000 participants.
